The Nakadaki Center is located on the Boso Peninsula 1 hourby express train from Tokyo station.
The retreat will be a 2-night, 2-day event i.e. Friday night through Sunday afternoon. Our focus is to give people a full weekend of tennis and nature. Nakadaki is nestled within a wooded wonderland a few kilometers from the ocean, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Groups coming from Yokohama will leave together with Joran from Yamate station at 7.30pm on Friday,
Oct. 31st. If coming from Tokyo, you will meet Joran and the Yokohama group in Tokyo station at the entrance
to the Keiyo line at 8.30pm (31st). There is a UNIQLO store within Tokyo station right as you head towards
the Keiyo line. This will be the meeting point. Everyone will leave together on the 9.00pm express (Tokkyu)
train on the Keiyo line and will arrive at Kazusa-Ichinomiya station 1hr later where you will be picked up
by Morgan and taken to Nakadaki, which is a 10 minute drive from the station.
Upon arrival, we'll get you settled into the lodge, then gather around the campfire for drinks and a meet, and greet.
We will keep the number of people on the court at any one time to a maximum of 6, with the remaining group to be doing other activities and swapping periodically. (Our Day 2 doubles clinic will involve more than 6 people on court). Additional activities include relaxation therapy, yoga, hiking, squash, or simply relaxing with a book and enjoying the calm. Tennis instruction and drills are suitable for all levels of play, with instruction being tailored to suit your level.
